The Avon Winner finally get's her package!
I got so excited when I received this email today from Ruth, who is the Avon giveaway winner from when I started my blog a couple of months back. When I started the giveaway I didn't know anyone would be reading and I didn't expect that the reader and the winner would end up being from Spain. I was so excited, I felt like it was a holiday for me. I individually wrapped every single item to make it extra special and pretty and was hoping she wouldn't think I was crazy for all the wrapping. Now I'm happy to hear that she enjoyed it and so did her 3 year old son. Her email to me is below.
I want to thank everyone who entered that contest, my readers, followers, and for Ruth for being so patient with me and the shipping. I hope you enjoy all your items and I'm so happy that you and your son had a fun time unwrapping everything.
P.S. Remember the Revlon contest is still open until the 11th of April... you might be the next winner!
Cheers,
Marisa

April 2013 Empties + Video
{Purchased products} {May contain Affiliate links}
I haven't had much time lately due to my regular job, unpacking, and a couple of life-changing events in my life. This week will be a bit hectic and slow on my postings but I promise I have good things ahead. This is one of three videos I've filmed for you all, full reviews on all the products coming soon, more than likely after the middle of next week.
*Warning: I am wearing no makeup in this video, this was before bedtime... no judgements please, I'm human too. :-)
Hope you enjoy my super long April Empties.
Cheers,
Marisa
KLORANE Extra-Gentle Dry Shampoo
{Purchased Product}{Some Affiliate Links}
I'm back again with another KLORANE review. I felt like the last review of KLORANE's Color Protecting Duo was a bit of a hit and miss for me since I disliked it and my honey liked it, I feel the need to tell you about my other KLORANE purchase.
KLORANE Extra-Gentle Dry Shampoo |
Dry shampoos are everywhere these days, from high end stores to drugstores. From affordable prices of a mere couple of dollars to over $20 and this one fell on the mid range since I picked up a travel size to test out. I am super picky about dry shampoos because my hair is black so too powdery and I look like grandma and too wet it makes my roots look oily and dirtier. KLORANE did an AMAZING job with this dry shampoo. It's neither too powdery nor too wet, as long as you keep it a good eight inches away from your roots.
The smell is absolutely lovely and makes me feel like I just washed my hair. Not only does my hair smell better but it absorbs the extra oils without creating the "dirty scalp build-up" feel that i've experienced with other dry shampoos. A couple of sprits to your roots and your good to go with fabulous soft, refreshed, and GREAT smelling hair!
The travel size bottle is $7.50 and the larger bottle is $14.00. I will definitely be splurging for the larger bottle next time. KLORANE Dry Shampoo can be found at www.KLORANE.com, Walgreens, or your BFF Google.com
Hope you've found this review helpful.
Cheers!
Marisa
