When I first saw the Fergie Wet n Wild Center Stage collection, I immediately gravitated towards the lipsticks, two of the eye shadows, eye primer, and highlighter. The colors are vibrant and beautiful in this collection but not every item is equal in quality. I was impressed by the staying power, the color pay-off, and the price of the lipsticks. I haven't gone a day without someone commenting me on my lip color (my favorite of the group: A036 Penthouse Sweet).

Each tube contains 0.10oz / 2.95g

From left to right: A033 Fergie Daily (light nude with a pink undertone), A035 V.I Pink (a light muted pink), A036 Penthouse Sweet (my FAVORITE, and most popular Barbie pink), A039 Fuchsianista ( bright Fuchsia/Pink with blue undertone), A038 Saraghina (a warm red with a hint of orange undertone), A041 Ferguson Crest Cabernet ( a cool wine/berry colored lipstick with blue undertone).
Left to Right: Fergie Daily, V.I Pink, Penthouse Sweet, Fuchsianista, Saraghina, and Ferguson Crest Cabernet

None of the lipsticks are 100% Matte, the two with the least amount of moisture are Fergie Daily, and V.I Pink. I find them to be a drying on the lips without any gloss over them. The most complemented lipstick I've ever owned has to be Penthouse Sweet, I cannot go anywhere without someone asking what brand and shade of lipstick I'm wearing. They all guess MAC and are completely surprised when I tell them it's a Wet n Wild brand lipstick.

Left to Right: Fergie Daily, V.I Pink, Penthouse Sweet, Fuchsianista, Saraghina, and Ferguson Crest Cabernet

All of the lipsticks are incredibly opaque and long lasting about 7-8 hours before I need a touch up. For me that's the longest lasting lipstick color I own. The four shades on the right are the most moisturizing, they provide full coverage but with a bit of a gloss finish to them. While they wear well and last a long time, they will emphasize any chapped lips so be sure to exfoliate your lips and pre-treat them with chap-stick before applying to ensure you get a nice application.

Shimmer Palette A045 Rose Champagne Glow  0.4 oz/11.3g

The next item I purchased was the Wet n Wild Centerstage Shimmer Palette in the shade A045 Rose Champagne Glow. The shimmer palette is perfect for highlighting the high points of the face and cheekbones. It's soft and velvety feeling leaves your impressed by it's smooth application. I think this is a highlighter that would look best of fair to light skin tones.
Champagne, Light Pink, Medium Pink, blended colors.
The swirl-mix of light champagne, light and medium pinks blend into a perfect shimmery highlight with a hint of pink. On the swatch I tried to capture The champagne color on the left, the light pink second to the left, medium pink second to the right, and the three colors blended together on the far right.

Shade: For My Primas 0.34fl. oz/ 10mL
The Prep & Prime Eyeshadow Primer was the gold gold-mine find in this collection outside of the lipsticks. It compared the ingredients from the Wet n Wild Eye Primer to the Urban Decay original  primer potion and the ingredients are almost the same for the exception of a few that are not listed on the Urban Decay eye primer.

In general this eye primer is a fraction of the price as the Urban Decay Original primer potion and it performs just as well if not better than Urban Decay's eye primer. The swatch on the left is right out of the tube and to the right is the primer blended into the skin. It has nearly any visible color but makes eyes my cheap eyeshadows looks vibrant and last way longer than the eyeshadows worn alone. The formula seems to be a bit less thick than the Urban Decay's Original primer potion. I'll stick to using this Wet n Wild until I run out. I may get some back-up tubes since the price is right on the money.

Eyeshadow palette in Metropolitan Nights 0.19oz/5.5g
When I saw the Metropolitan Nights palette I immediately fell in love with two of the colors, the top right gold and the bottom left taupe. The palette comes with two frost colors on the top and bottom left and two shimmer/glittery colors on the top and bottom right with a matte black in the center. The top left color is a frosty pearlescent white that comes off a bit powdery when swatched. While beautiful on the palette, it does not apply as pretty on the skin. On the top right is a shimmery gold with chunks of gold glitter. This is one of the colors that grabbed me because it reminded me of Lorac's 3D Luster Drop in Gold. While not a perfect match, they are both just as beautiful and could be a cheap close dupe for the Gold Luster drop. The right bottom shade is a black with loads of gold and taupe/greenish looking glitter. It's a beautiful shade but a very messy one, so be careful with the application of the glitter/shimmer shades. On the bottom left is a beautiful taupe with a subtle hint of green undertone to it. The middle color is just a regular matte black.

Eyeshadow palette in Desert Festival 0.19oz/5.5g
What can I say about Desert Festival other than the name is so appropriate for the palette. Unlike the Metropolitan Nights palette, Desert Festival comes with two shimmer, two matte, and one glitter shade.  On the top left is a sand color shimmer shade that is perfect for the brow bone. The top right color is a matte terra cotta orange, that is true to color when swatched. Bottom right is a rich dark chocolate with silver glitter. This shade reminds me of one of my favorite chocolates that has sea salt sprinkled all over, I just want to eat it. *I promise I haven't taken a bite.. yet! Bottom right is a light peachy color that comes off more on the orange side when applied to the skin. In the middle is a medium to dark matte brown.
With FLASH: Metropolitan Nights TOP, Desert Festival BOTTOM
While the colors on both of these palettes are beautiful, I am not impressed with the formula of the shadows. Wet n Wild has some of the best shadows our in the Drugstore, yet these do not compare to the trio's I have in my collection. Both palettes are powdery and application has to be done carefully. Not to mention a good primer has to be in used for the colors to appear as bright and pretty as they appear on the palette. I'm glad I picked these two palettes up, but I wouldn't re-purchase.
NO flash: Metropolitan Nights TOP, Desert Festival BOTTOM
In conclusion, I enjoyed most of the items I got from the Wet N Wild Fergie CenterStage Collection. Items I love and would re-purchase:

  • Lipstick in Penthouse Sweet ( I MUST get a couple more incase they sell out)
  • Prep & Prime Eyeshadow Primer (Definite must have)
  • Shimmer Palette in Champagne Glow

These products can be found at your local drugstore like CVS, Wallgreens, Rite-Aid. Prices may vary by location.
